Okay, now that that is over with...
I rode my bike into work yesterday morning. (approximately 15 miles). About halfway to work, I started to feel winded. OMG..really? That's when it dawned on me. These extra 20lbs are making me feel so sluggish that my HR was higher during yesterday's bike ride to work than it ever has. Between this and my ONE FREAKING MILE run, I knew changes had to be made.
I felt good walking into Crossfit last night until I saw the WOD. 75 power snatches. Really? The RX for women was 55lbs. I did one power snatch at RX and realized there was no way I was going to do 75 with good form so I did it with 45lbs. It took me just over 12 minutes, but I was happy to finish.
Despite all this, the bike ride home was pleasant...
