Yesterday's workout was a 1 rep heavy weight squat snatch. Now as someone who struggles with overhead squats, I had SERIOUS issues with this. I think I did 45lbs!! That's okay, I'm getting stronger.
The warm-up, however, was awesome: Sumo Deadlift High Pulls & Front Squat (65lbs). I am proud at how well I did, but I'm definitely feeling it today.
On a slightly different note: I started the Spartan's 30 Day Mile Challenge. As a runner, who hasn't been running lately, this is such a great way to help me get back into running. Today will be day 6 of my daily mile run. I've registered for the North Face Endurance Challenge and need to train seriously, so my longer runs will take place on the weekends. Wish me luck!!
